Olabanji Abisiga is a project management professional. He is a graduate of Odesa National University Ukraine with a first degree and MSc in Chemical Engineering. Also, an APM certified Project Management Professional, NEBOSH certified Safety practitioner and a member of the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN)/NSE.
In the early days of his career, his quest for positive impact took him to Jofla Plastics Nigeria Ltd, Lagos, where he worked as Production and Factory Manager. He started his career as Project Drilling Engineer in Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited Lagos after his NYSC, contributing to the development of the Asabo field, amongst others.
Banji, as fondly called, also worked in the Strategic Planning and Credit Administration Department of First Interstate Bank(now Unity Bank).
Presently, he is a Project Engineer at Shell Petroleum Development Company of Nigeria Limited,(SPDC)Port Harcourt, completing projects such as the multi-billion dollar Gbaran Ubie Integrated Oil and Gas Project. Currently, he is on the K2S Back-Up Power Project, amongst others handled by SPDC.
He has over 25 years of work experience. He sits on the Board of NBROL Nig Ltd, Babingos Ventures and Procapitos Group, where he is bringing in his expertise in complex stakeholder management, opportunity realization and business management skills to bare in the present-day fast-evolving technological, environmentally sensitive and mostly agile/dynamic business environment.
His interest in “Care for People” has endeared him to voluntary welfare activities in his community and his passion for guiding youths. His other hobbies include listening to music.
Banji is happily married to Ngozi and blessed with three boys.
